The tragedy of titanic is so famous among the people. It occurred on 14th April 1912 at 11:40 pm where this ship can avoid crashing the iceberg. This ship also gains its recognition because of the releasing titanic movie directed by James Cameron and played by Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet. The movie is so exceptional, but I believe that you do not know much about the titanic. There are some interesting titanic facts that you have not noticed.
1.Titanic is a Royal Mail Ship

2.Two Bathtubs for 700 passengers
Bathroom in titanic has be shared with anybody else. If you select the first class suit, you may enjoy your personal bathroom. If you were included in the third class, you and the other 700 passengers had to share the two provided bathrooms.
3.Lifeboats is Not Full
It was said to the movie that the lifeboat in titanic could not fully take the passengers. This situation contradicts with the facts. The lifeboat at that time was not maximally to get the passengers. For instance, if the capacity of the boat can take 65 people, it just filled with 20 people.
4.The Titanic’s Newspaper

6.Californian Boat Was Closer for Rescue
When the ship hit the iceberg, the captain had issued a signal to ask some rescue for the other boat. It was the Californian ship not the Carpathia ship that was closer to titanic since the crew could see the light. However, the captain of the Californian had no response until the next morning.
7.Titanic sinking
37 second was the only time for this ship to avoid the icebergs. However, the time was not enough for the First Officer Murdoch to order the crew to make a sharp turn on the left. In addition he also asked the crew to reserve the engine.
8.The Fourth Funnel
In the design of the titanic you may view that this ship featured 4 black funnels. Actually the fourth funnel is built for its aesthetic while the rest is functioned to release the steam. The designer thought that titanic would not be good to view in there funnels. Thus, he added one more.
9.Titanic Corpses
Soon the survivors of Titanic came to New York. The disaster itself had taken so many lives that Mackay-Bennett wanted to find the corpses. He took tons of ice, 40 embalmers and 100 coffins to accommodate the dead body. He could discover 306, but the 116 could not be identified about the damaging condition.
10.Titanic’s Dogs
Beside women and children animal can be found as the survival of this iceberg tragedy. There were nine dogs in this ship, but the survivals were the Pekinese and Pomeranian dogs.
